PCYC PENRITH MARTIAL ARTS
PCYC Penrith offers a safe and inclusive environment where people of all ages and fitness levels can get involved in martial arts. With multiple classes per week, our community-based gym is the perfect place to explore and develop a passion for martial arts.
Our Junior Judo course is suited for young people between the ages of 5 and 14 years old. In these classes, students will study this modern Japanese martial art under the guidance of our trained instructors. As they learn self-defence and combat skills, they’ll also absorb valuable lessons about discipline and hard work.
We also provide a Senior Judo class for our members over the age of 16. Participants in this course will also study the core principles of Judo, learning how to unbalance opponents and protect themselves. Judo classes at PCYC are held in accordance with Judo Federation Australia, which creates standards for accrediting trainers and grading students.
In addition to our Judo sessions, PCYC Penrith also hosts Classical Japanese Swordsmanship courses for those over the age of 14. In this class, participants take part in physical exercise while also working on their concentration and focus.
